I began my automotive career at Schomp Honda where I started as a client advisor. Schomp is an A to Z and best price organization. After training, I immediately applied the sales process without deviation. I was tremendously successful and consistently exceeded all of my unit and PVR targets. While I was on the sales floor I was almost always in the top five for units, PVR, and CSI among a staff of 40+ client advisors.My success and ability to always be a team player with a good attitude garnered attention from the executive team. I was promoted to Corporate Trainer after a year of sales. I was assigned to a team of three responsible for training all of the new hires for every rooftop (three at the time). My duties included developing a syllabus, overseeing testing and sales licenses for the state, training with live roleplays, and certifying. The company saw a significant improvement in lowering our turnover rate within the first 90 days and an increase in overall gross generated from client advisors employed for less than 90 days. I also had a key role in developing our mentorship program with our Director of Business Development which is still being used today.I was then promoted to Sales Manager at the MINI store where I currently work. After taking over a team of five advisors, I have not had any of my people fail while working with me. I continue to support my staff with consistent quality training, positive reinforcement, finance knowledge, and fair treatment with respect and integrity. I was hired as a Deputy assigned to the Patrol Division of the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office in 2013. I quickly recognized my career goals and dedicated myself to attaining them. During my tenure with the Sheriff’s Office, I took an interest in DUI enforcement. Although the Sheriff's Office did not have a specialized DUI unit, I was continuously volunteering for as many DUI shifts as possible. In 2014 and 2015, I was one of five Deputies leading the Sheriff's Office in DUI arrests and convictions. I was able to attend ARIDE training in 2016 and was also awarded a "Traffic Safety Hero" award from the Colorado State Patrol for my efforts in DUI enforcement. I have taken on large projects within the agency in an attempt to streamline and improve patrol operations. Most notably I had a major influence on overhauling the department's DUI reports. I helped create a digital form which streamlined the DUI arrest process and freed up Deputies faster providing more coverage for patrol calls. My supervisors have commented in several annual reviews that my job knowledge, written reports, decision making, proactive work, and communication skills exceed the standard. In 2015 I received a letter of commendation from the Sheriff for locating and arresting a homicide suspect within seven minutes of dispatch.

Immediately after completing my POST training I was hired to be a Patrol Officer with the City of Steamboat Springs. I was assigned to rotating shifts while on Patrol and spent most of my three years honing in my skills and absorbing as much knowledge and experience as I possibly could. After three years I felt it was important to return to my home town on the front range to continue growing my career.
