About Evangelos Kiskinis

My current interests revolve around stem cell biology, focusing on the translation applications of patient-specific pluripotent stem cell lines. Stem cells offer unique opportunities for setting up novel disease modeling and drug discovery assays.I'm particularly focused on utilizing embryonic as well as induced pluripotent stem cells to study neurodegenerative diseases such as ALS.I have a research background on transcriptional regulation in the context of toxicological processes, reproductive and adipose tissue biology.
