I am certified as a Maryland State Concrete Plant Technician as well as an American Concrete Institute Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1. I established the quality control department at Schuster Concrete's Owings Mills plant. I ensure that all concrete meets state specifications and that non-state mixes meet minimum specifications for a good quality concrete mix. I run tests before the concrete is shipped out of the plant as well as running tests on all aggregates that go into the concrete on a daily basis.

I answered phone calls of customer's complaints and took orders for future concrete deliveries. I also batched the concrete accurately measuring the correct admixture, aggregate, water, and cement needed to obtain desired concrete mix. When I was not batching, I filled in as a dispatcher strategically dispatching concrete mixers to their job sites in an efficient manner so that customers received their concrete in a timely fashion.
