As a News Associate, I am responsible for aiding in various behind the scenes and production practices at CNN. I have participated in the special coverage of multiple critical events in politics from the criminal trial of Donald Trump, to multiple landmark Supreme Court cases to covering the news of hostage trades with foreign countries. I have also supported live broadcasts by working with bookers from shows such as The Lead with Jake Tapper to The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer to help coordinate guest arrival and facilitating positive experiences with talent.

As the Editorial Assistant at District Fray, I was responsible for supporting the editorial team across various projects. One of my main responsibilities was updating our online events calendar on a daily basis with new activities from across the DMV as well as coordinating with PR representatives to get their events on out calendar. I was also responsible for writing and editing content on a daily basis from write-ups about the happenings in Washington D.C. to profiles of important community members. I was able to spotlight people from local community tastemakers to major celebrities like Countess Luann of the Real Housewives of New York. Responsibilities also included participating in various aspects of magazine production from editing content to curating the printed magazine events calendar write up to creating content for the magazine. Finally, I was also responsible for the weekly events roundup email blast.My time at District Fray was unfortunately cut short due to an entire team lay-off as the magazine ceased production.

As a community director I oversee and manage 10 college campuses across the country and act as a liaison between and Bumble HQ. I help develop and organize various college level initiatives and activations across the country and report back to HQ the outcomes of said events.

As an impact manager I was responsible for organizing outreach missions across my campus and facilitating partnerships with various university affiliated organizations and local businesses. I've been able to raise over $200 for charity, create interactive and engaging social media content to spread brand awareness and host and collaborate on various in person and virtual events.

As editor of the Diversions desk, I serve as the main contact point and head of the Diversions desk. Responsibilities include, managing payment of the entire desk, organizing and scheduling pitch meetings, maintaining the diversions email account, and a biweekly editing shift where stories for the night are read, edited and set up for publication via Wordpress.

As deputy editor I am responsible for weekly shifts in which I read through our content going up the following day and edit the stories as needed. I am responsible for front reading each story as well as creating the back-end asset via Wordpress for eventual publication later that evening. I am also responsible for leading weekly pitch meetings and workshopping any ideas reporters are in the process of working on. I am also responsible for organizing press opportunities for reporters to cover early screenings, concerts coming to the DMV area as well as other press opportunities.

Diversions is The Diamondback's section dedicated to covering all things arts, entertainment and culture. As a reporter I was responsible for three stories every two weeks, with one required reported story. Story topics ranged from cultural commentaries to feature stories about various aspects of the college experience surrounding College Park.

Responsible for weekly broadcasts with the philosophy of offering an hour long music fueled escape from the harder parts of life and enjoy some happy dance music. During my broadcasts I discuss all facets of the world whether its current events, issues bothering me or recapping personal anecdotes of the week. Weekly broadcasts are typically hosted alone, but occasionally will have a guest.

As a producer I organized weekly pitch meetings to curate the best possible broadcast for that week. I edited and organized the script to make it flow as best as possible for the week. During the fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters, Drop the Pop went remote and was pre-recorded weekly and as a producer I was responsible for editing the weekly broadcasts on Adobe Audition. In Fall 2021 we returned to the studio for live broadcasts and during such I was responsible for managing the soundboard.

As an SEO Intern, I am responsible for creating evergreen content for the Just Curious section of USA Today. The Just Curious section serves to answer some of the most commonly searched up questions and provide the answer as well as important supplementary information. Story topics range from how long to cook chicken breast in an air fryer to can dogs eat tomatoes. Through the use of Google Trends, each story is curated using important keywords and phrases to best work with search engine algorithm.

Let's Get Lunch is a part-time side project in mine surrounding a philosophy that drives my journalism. Let's Get Lunch is my podcast where I bring on fun and interesting guests on for interesting and unique casual conversation, because there's nothing more casual than a sit down lunch conversation with a friend. Let's Get Lunch is independently ran by me and edited and produced by me.

As an intern I was responsible for editing episodes of Time4Coffee using Adobe Audition as well as researching upcoming guests and creating interesting and engaging questions for them. On top of editing episodes, I was responsible for creating show notes for the episode as well as a short bio of the featured guest of the episode. Besides editing, I also did research to help further develop the College2Career academy.

Responsible for writing biweekly pop culture news stories and creating a thought provoking discussion surrounding the deeper meaning of the story. Held a rotating position of either hosting the broadcast or functioning as a reporter to help drive forward conversations, participate in segments and provoke on air discussion in regards to my stories and others.
