Progressed through the PADI Professional System as a Divemaster, Open Water Scuba Instructor, Master Scuba Diving Trainer and Staff Instructor. As a Staff Instructor I am trained to work with many clients to from training new divers in the pool and open water through teaching Divemasters how to teach as Assistant Instructors. I am also able to teach the following courses: Enriched Air, Emergency Oxygen Provider, Equipment Specialist, Underwater Navigator, Night Diver, Search & Recovery, Deep, Dry Suit, Wreck, Care for Children w/AED, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Project Aware, and AWARE Coral Reef Conservation

- Principle Investigator for high profile company R&D to develop heterodyne Down Convertors to be utilized in a receiver platform. Organized vendor down selection to build designed Down Convertors. -Tested Vendor designs through various efforts to determine functionality and specifications were achieved. - Developed Python scripts to simply tedious test efforts and developed scripts to analyze recorded data. - Created concept drawing of backend receiver consisting of standard interfaces to achieve a highbandwidth, low noise floor system to satisfy future growth for a military customer. - Wrote specifications and test procedures for prototype devices transitioned into an EDM Device.- Created software mockups for software developers to build GUI for naval radar systems. - Modified System/Subsystem Specification (SSS) and created software requirements specs based on the SSS.

Directly worked with and stationed at customer location, the US. Naval Research Lab. Designed, fabricated and tested a 9W VHF-UHF RF Transmitter and support electronics including a microcontroller and a third party Arbitrary Waveform Generator System. The system was designed to show the availability to use commercial parts from the cell phone industry to military designs. Supervised all communication between NRL and Exelis Purchasing Department.

Designed and transitioned a Phased Array and MMW Electronics receiver prototype product to EDM. Documented and tested many of the system level test procedures to insure hardware performance.Performed trade studies to verify system level performance of receiver and down converter specs.Trained as a member of the install team placing the Phase Array Panel into Anechoic chamber using a forklift with a crane attachment,Coordinated program initialization with the Security Office including position as a Room and Safe Custodian. Preformed extensive work with Classified Spec Management using DOORS.

Developed mathematical simulations to verify concepts of system simulations. Organized and established High Power Computing nodes to meet demanding needs of design software.Developed and enhanced an electronic surveillance device using specialized communication links and interactive software controls.Established Test Sets to be used to verify performance of deliverable products.

Intern working with R&D staff during product transition from prototype to a production ready product. Involved in assembly design, pcb board design, product testing, component selection,drawing schematics, programming, database design and management in addition to researching various technologies such as robotics controllers, embedded computers, and video cameras.
