About Evan Ishida

My passion is to help people grow, connect, and thrive in their work, communities and lives. I have worked in various settings, focusing on learning, talent development, leadership, culture, strategy, and operations. I have experience working in large Fortune 200 companies, where I managed a global learning team, launched large scale leadership programs, served as a partner to senior leaders and developed enterprise-wide standard processes for performance consulting and learning. After my corporate tenure, I co-founded two organizations that allowed me to work across a number of industries in the areas of learning strategy, program design, facilitation, coaching, learning technology implementation and strategic planning. I currently serve as the Co-Founder and Partner, of Thrive at Work, where our team of designers, facilitators, strategists, and coaches work to create places where leaders and teams can learn their way into a better future. In this capacity, I also served as Chief Operating Officer of my current firm where I oversee finance, marketing, sales, and operations. The industries, where I’ve worked considerably include manufacturing, insurance, healthcare, accounting, talent acquisition, professional services, nonprofits, and education. Through my work in our community, I’ve co-founded a nonprofit, served on multiple boards, and performed pro-bono consulting in efforts to grow more equity and access. In my free time, I enjoy playing pickleball, riding bikes, and playing guitar with my wife, stepson and dogs.
