  I was an accounting intern and was responsible for smaller client finances and year-end tax record keeping. I prepared monthly income statements for individual clients and profit and loss reports for clients with small businesses. Additionally, I demonstrated proficiency with accounting software like QuickBooks and Excel to record financial information, and to help record and manage client year end financials, which my boss would eventually interpret for tax returns.
