The Agile COE is the intersectionality of all things Agile at RBC. Our mandate is to drive agile adoption and to raise maturity through focused and strategic thought leadership. As an Agile Coach, I work with and coach teams, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, programs, and portfolios throughout the enterprise from mobilization through to sustainment. Agile Coaches work together to constantly refine our agile organizational roadmap and ensure that we are solving the right problems at the right time.As a coach in the Agile COE I am responsible for creating and delivering agile training from foundational basics through to advanced frameworks and methodologies. More importantly I am first and foremost a mindset coach because agile is not something we do, agile is something we are. I train, coach, and mentor agilists and aspiring agilists alike to help them navigate the broad landscape of possibilities in where they can practically apply agile principles and values in their day-to-day functions.Working closely with senior leaders and executives to understand the desired outcomes, I help by designing end-to-end transformation roadmaps through framework guidance, vision and goal setting, team/organizational design, impediments removal, and metrics through to measurements. As an expert facilitator I leverage my decade of experience in multiple Agile roles to drive change where it is needed most. With expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled agile, I work every day to move us closer to becoming a lean, agile, and adaptive organization.

As a Senior Scrum Master in the RBC Agile COE my mandate is to help spread the agile mindset, practices, and techniques across the organization. By encouraging people to challenge traditional ways of thinking, coaching individuals and teams to try new approaches, and providing guidance on the agile framework I help teams execute on the implementation of agile methodologies. But it doesn't stop there. Working with other scrum masters and coaches in the Agile COE, we collaborate to design and develop agile frameworks and programs to continually grow the agile maturity in both business agility and technical excellence. I've been fortunate to be able to draw from my experiences in organizational transformation which gives me a unique perspective and foresight into the many challenges, pitfalls, and successes that agile transformation can bring.Helping organizations, teams, and people get excited about agile transformation is what keeps me invested in what I do and I look forward to doing it every day!
