Assist students in learning Java code and object oriented programming concepts

During this 3 week temporary position, I entered roughly 1600 job spec sheets into the company’s software system

During my 7 month long co-op at Trane company in La Crosse, a commercial chiller manufacturer, I had the pleasure of working with several talented engineers, plant managers, and maintenance personnel in issues of safety, quality, and cost-efficiency.I performed a tool life elongation project that will save Trane thousands of dollars per year. I also participated in a “moon shining” project that involved making work cell component mock-ups and refining standard work instructions in preparation for a new work cell. My other duties included modeling machine fixtures, updating operator method sheets, and performing daily safety audits. I also received training in 9-step problem solving during my co-op term.

I served as a second shift leader. My primary tasks were stocking and rotating shelves, maintaining department neatness, and assisting guests with various requests and questions. As a leader, I had to maintain a positive attitude and communicate with the younger team members in order to complete nightly tasks in the most efficient manner.
