Evan worked in the Traffic Operations division of NDOT performing tasks related to Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS). He performed analysis of the ITS network and verified and created documentation relating to traffic monitoring and control devices. He also worked with an outside contractor and other NDOT divisions to plan construction of a fiber optic.
