He most recently served as in the Patrol Division as a Watch Commander.In his 16th year of Law Enforcement, he has served in both patrol and investigative capacities, as well as a field training officer, patrol supervisor, police community services and media relations supervisor, and police instructor for de-escalation and diversity awareness. He also serves as the commander for the department’s honor guard and is the current coordinator for the department’s mentoring program. He is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication, and, as a member of the Corps of Cadets and the Nationally Famous Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band, he served as his unit’s Administrative Officer and earned a certificate of Leadership Studies. He also holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma in Criminal Justice - Administration and Leadership.
