About Evan Mcdonagh
I still remember the day I got my first PC, Christmas 1995, the curiosity which lead to excitement the deeper I dove into the world of Windows 95. I still remember the hours I would spend in Encarta 95 researching places I had heard in passing, and no more than using Wikipedia today, reading one article always leads to another article.While it was a timid start, little did I know that this introduction to computers would be the start of a glorious relationship with computers and technology in general. Thanks to that faithful day in 1995, it lead me to becoming a staple hold in my family as the I.T. guy, the guy who if there's a problem with their PC (and more recently iOS or Android device) would be called upon to rescue them from their I.T peril. It lead me to the decision to take that passion and to take the opportunity to study Business Information Systems in the National University of Ireland, Galway, to help me get a job in the field I'd basically been affiliated with in some fashion the majority of my life. This in turn helped me grow in confidence in terms of my IT competency, and to this day, almost 20 years later, I still thrive to learn more and more about computers and evolving technologies and to expand my abilities in the IT world, which leads me to where I am today, trying to break out into the World Wide Web in my spare time to help small businesses and local clubs and societies create and maintain an online presence.Currently working as a Software QA Engineer for AIR Worldwide in Back Bay, Boston
