About Evan Mckenzie
My name is Evan McKenzie, and I have spent the last several years learning everything I can about the world of computer science and engineering. Most specifically, how the two areas can be meshed together to form a cohesive unit. I believe that the best companies of the future are ones that actively embrace the technological shift in the workplace, while still remembering that computers can enhance real people's abilities, not replace them.I am a graduate of Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan where I studied Computer Engineering and specialized in process automation. Before that, I attended North Central Michigan College where I earned an Associate of Arts with General Studies and where my passion for computing and the world of engineering first started. I was introduced to my first programming class here, and since then I have been dedicated to learning and thoroughly understanding the computing world. Michigan Tech introduced me to engineering and teamwork, and I bring a well-rounded education and sociable personality to the table.Outside of work, you can usually find me in the Michigan wilderness pursuing one of my hobbies, which include winter camping, trail hiking, and backpacking. I am also an avid golfer and play basketball in my spare time.
