Developed a system to determine the optimal model for a provided dataset. This project was a subset of the DARPA project, Data Driven Discovery, which is focused on automatically training an optimal machine learning model for a dataset then tuning that model accordingly. Our subset of the project focused on the model selection. We developed two extensible.

Worked with Bloomberg’s global team on researching and developing a knowledge graph for financial and general information. Integrated DBpedia to supplement Bloomberg’s knowledge graph. Developed a system to detect and correct anomalies within DBpedia. Extensive use of VirtuosoDB, SPARQL, and PySpark.

SplitScreen, Fall 2015 — Application for OSX and Windows that allows for powerful window management. Designed to emulate Window’s aero snap functionality but extend it further to allow for more window configurations. Also have plans to add focus-follows-mouse.

IBM BigInsights — Worked on the IBM Open Platform with Apache Hadoop to analyze big data, automate, and test installation of new builds. Developed a system designed to pinpoint weaknesses in new builds by randomly generating corner case parameters. Used several design patterns to create a powerful and extensible framework for future products under IBM’s.

Working on a project called Spoiler. Mobile app that allows the user to monitor and track driving habits. Handling the iOS version of the app as well as the overall design of the app across both Android and iOS platforms.

Billing Support Tool — Developed an application to automate the report generation process used to create the invoice support data for Raytheon’s contract with NASA. The report generator extracts financial data from an SAP data download, automates financial calculations, consolidates financial information and converts formats to produce a consolidated.

Spacecraft Telemetry Tool — Developed the Telemetry Diagnostics Tool (TDTOOL) currently being used by the Hubble Space Telescope team at NASA Goddard Spaceflight Center. The TDTOOL analyzes a telemetry bit-stream from the Hubble and extracts and formats user specified telemetry fields and data sets. Handled a large data set in the millions.

Worked on a project called Sia. Sia at the time was a crypto-currency based around cloud-storage. It has since left the Rensselaer Center for Open Source Software and it being worked as a start-up. Handle wallet management.
