To support the engineering effort for new model year bike development and production, I was tasked with ensuring the current fabrication process for the model year 2019 fuel tanks and fenders supported the new features of the new model year 2020 fuel tank. Meanwhile, I performed tests and collected data to make sure these processes maintain strict, controlled, quality/inspection checks, and regulatory requirements. I carried out multiple projects, including:- Designed, built, and tested attribute gauges for new model fuel tank fuel cups- Completed drawing maps and inspection plans for new model year 2020 and 2021 fuel tanks- Conducted capability studies for new model year fuel tanks and fendersperformed Design Of Experiments (D.O.E) for fill cup brazing process- Aided the production floor with the 2019 to 2020 fuel tank production transition- Learned aluminum TIG welding
