    As a staff engineer for a 3D product org in a hyper growth company, I wore many hats including tech lead, product owner, architect, engineering manager, and data scientist.I’m most proud of:- leading a team to create a programmable geospatial/3D geometry system that allows our ops teams to fluidly scale by directing thousands of workers through data-driven rules-based instructions and interactions.- developing a robust and performant WebGL powered 3D engine that allowed us to horizontally scale to low cost regions, enabling us to capture an order of magnitude more revenue.- engaging with customers and sales to build a technical roadmap for new products; partnering with customers and engagement team for technical problem solving (incl. spec’ing features and translating into multiple solutions for eng teams with cost benefit analyses).- spearheading statistical annotation tools (and ops analysis suite), reducing labeling CoGs by 5-10% as validated by continuous high power AB testing.- successfully advocating for instrumentation to make goal setting and development as data-driven as possible; leading new ETL efforts.- designing a configurable 3D rendering pipeline that allows modular development of image space effects, GPGPU, different modes of picking, and precomputing rendering work on backend ingest.- running quantitative experiments to reduce cost and improve efficiency through new features and smart defaults (high variance, some aspects of CoGs and efficiency improved up to 50%).- defining technical roadmaps and technical product specifications, breaking them up into deliverable tickets for dev teams. - providing mentorship and coaching to engineers; leading a software engineering best practices club.- collaborating with our recruiting team to continuously evolve a high volume funnel.- inventing visualization techniques for LiDAR, radar, photo, thermal, radiometric.- creatively integrating unsupervised methods and ML models into product.
