At Heritage Architecture, LLC. I developed an expertise in all phases of architectural scope, including design development, construction documents preparation and construction administration while working on the following projects:• Education Center, City of Newark: As Project Coordinator and Designer, I conducted the field survey of the existing facility, prepared the schematic design for 6,000 SF basement renovations and prepared the construction documents through the use of 3D modeling and drafting in Revit Architecture. I coordinated the mechanical and electrical scope with our engineering staff• NYC Housing Authority, Façade Inspections & Renovations: In the role of Project Coordinator, I have taken on the responsibility of collaborating with the Structural Engineer to compile the results of structural investigations into detailed reports for submission to the NYC Department of Buildings. Simultaneous tasks included preparing drawings of site plans and elevations and completed historical research on each building.• USAF Interior Renovation, General Services Administration: I was responsible for the field survey and existing conditions for an office alteration which included design and preparation of construction documents, interior layout, lighting design and architectural detailing. As well as coordinating the project scope with MEP engineers.• BMO Office Space Renovation, General Services Administration: I was in charge of the field survey and existing conditions for an office alteration which included design and preparation of construction documents, interior layout, lighting design and architectural detailing. Other responsibilities included coordinating the project scope with MEP engineers.

As a member of the Design Build program at Parsons, I took part in the entire design process of a complete renovation of a landmarked field house located; As part of this project I gained experience in the necessary procedures to gain approval from the Landmark Committee and the Community Review Boards. As a team we drew the entire CD set necessary for approval. In particular, I was a member of the duo responsible for the design of the new public restroom at the facility.

Through this position I experienced the atmosphere of working in an environment dedicated to architecture. I was given the opportunity as a draftsperson to understand the full project process, and learned the importance of communication between the multiple teams involved. I also learned the value of having an open mind to share ideas towards the design of the project. My site measurements and drafting work were used for final project approval in the re-design of a local restaurant.
