I'm a software engineer, musician, and content creator with interests in game development, procedural generation, and back-end programming. I currently work as a Software Engineer III with Walmart Global ECommerce, working on backend systems supporting global payment settlements. Previously, I worked as a Senior Backend Software Engineer with ByteDance, working on TikTok, as well as with Amazon working with Consumer Payments on Amazon payments infrastructure and supporting expansion in Physical Stores like Whole Foods and Amazon 4 Star.I am proficient in C family languages (C, C++, C#, Java), and I use them often in my studies, personal, and professional work. At TikTok I worked primarily with Golang and GORM for MySQL. With Amazon, I worked significantly in Java and an AWS based stack (S3, EC2, DynamoDB, SWF, CloudWatch) as well as Python and TypeScript. In my personal time, I have spent a significant amount of time working with C# using Unity as well as C++ both with raw OpenGL and with Unreal Engine for developing video games.

Senior Backend Software Engineer
During much of 2023, I worked with ByteDance/TikTok in the Global E-Commerce org in Bellevue, WA. On this team, we worked on a number of new systems and optimizations to support the quickly expanding TikTok Shop platform. My primary projects at ByteDance included a number of refactors of pipelines, workflows, and documents for CI/CD release process.
