Successful tapeout of multiple CMOS image sensors for optogenetic probes. Sensors fabricated in 0.5um Silicon-on-Sapphire, AMI 0.5um, ams 0.35um, IBM 0.18um, and Samsung 90nm processes. Results published/presented in various IEEE journals/conferences.

Worked on MPEG decoder for set-top boxes at the Digital TV Lab in Seoul, Korea. Used VHDL and Xilinx FPGAs, and was able to reduce the resource consumption of the decoder by 30% from the original design without impacting quality or performance.

Overhaul of various internal databases using Microsoft Access/VBScript for the largest private employer in the state of Hawaii. Created a meeting room scheduling software which was used by the company for the next 14 years.
