• Served as a lead project team member in the design and execution of field material management activities including; material control, field procurement, expediting, logistics, material inspection, laydown yard design / material storage, material preservation, issuing of material to contractors, and warranty / back charge coordination.• Managed labor contracts for material handling and equipment preservation crews. Responsible for the selection and management of warehouse equipment, management of site construction vehicles, and temporary construction trailers. Additionally responsible for monitoring and maintaining man-hours, equipment budgets, and payment of invoices related to material management. • Received, stored and issued 4,200 uniquely tagged instruments / equipment, 3,200 tagged valves, and 75,000 feet of pipe with zero lost material and reorder cost. • Coordinated work across multiple disciplines including Home Office Procurement, Supplier Quality Surveillance (SQS)/Quality, Engineering, and Construction.• Notable project contributions: The design of a 3D model of the project material laydown yard used to organize and coordinate material delivery, storage, and issuance. The model and material plan was nominated for presentation to Fluor’s CEO. Additionally developed an in-depth analysis of the project’s receiving and issuing processes in terms of manpower and effort hour requirements. This analysis was used to demonstrate potential cost savings when implementing RFID tagging into the material management process.
