- Led the Analytics and Data Engineering teams at a Series E startup that integrates software engineers with US tech companies.- Grew Analytics team from 1 to 7 in less than a year across offices in New York, Lagos, and Nairobi. Role was later expanded to lead the company’s entire Data function.- Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of analytic warehouse and data ELT stack (Stitch, dbt, Airflow, CircleCi, Python, Google BigQuery, and Looker). Within 15 months, users increased from 0 to 180 across 13 departments.- Supported all major operational (Sales, Marketing, Delivery, Recruiting) and non-operational (Product, Finance, HR) functions through company-wide reporting and strategic analysis.- Created a new product development process by adopting agile best practices and prototyping data products for Technology.

- Third hire in Andela’s New York office. Since joining, the business has expanded from 2 to 40 countries; from 3 to 300 customers; from Seed funding to Series E; and startup to $1.5B unicorn.-Role was expanded in less than a year to cover Demand Generation and Revenue Analytics.- Designed and built the referral demand generation program that was responsible for 60% of growth during first 2 years.- Supported revenue strategy through strategic analysis, including customer segmentation for marketing, travel <> churn analysis for operations, and software language assessment for Technology. Work contributed to 30x revenue growth in 2.5 years.

- Fully automated data collection and analysis procedures to gain deeper energy efficiency insights.- Secured first sale to an unregulated power provider by modeling benefits of new software products.

- Prepared quantitative reports for Department’s senior leadership on the natural gas and solar industries, to include natural gas demand-side scenario analysis.

- Led a three-man Training Team embedded with an Afghan Army infantry company through 150+ combat missions.- Designed and supervised an eight-month weapons and tactics training course that included over 100 live fire ranges or classes, successfully fielding five new weapon systems for 150 Afghan soldiers.- Provided strategic, classified analysis to senior officers throughout East Asia, including Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia.- Chosen by Commanding Officer to serve as Company Commander and as Regimental Intelligence Officer, positions generally reserved for more senior ranking officers.- Awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and the Combat Action Ribbon.
