Solution Center duties:-Providing excellent customer service and advanced technical assistance to internal corporate users on campus, working from home, or for district managers located around the country including extensive documentation on all issues.-Responsible for user access for applications, folders, permissions and more. -User access includes setting up new hires, promotions and separations on the back end. Other user access duties ranged from restoring leave associates or creating and setting up vendor accounts with appropriate access.-Resolve technology problems for clients in person, via telephone or from remote a location.-Minimize user downtime by resolving issues as quickly as possible upon first call resolution or escalating if needed. -Providing support concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems. -Configuring users with appropriate access to their services either locally or thru remote applications. NOC duties:-Ensuring appropriate functionality and reporting technology issues to the different departments and working with the different technology teams for fast resolution on high priority outages or business impacts. -Monitoring system functionality of servers, reporting, financial processing and website stability to verify correct operations. Any detected errors requires we troubleshoot for resolution or escalate to next level tiers with appropriate documentation.-Work alongside the many different internal technology teams (SAP teams, Core, Security, Ecom, etc), this included handling Situation Management calls during any high level outages or streamlining processes. This includes extensive documentation and collaboration with engineers-Tasked with sending out communications reports that ranged from internal updates, maintenance and more through email that was relayed throughout the entire company.

IT Security duties:-Involved in highly confidential information in regards to hiring employees and setting up accounts to separating employees and removing access. -Granting access to applications and being in charge of creation of not only email accounts but also email groups. -Granting access to shared folder level access and creating or deleting said mentioned folders.-Providing amazing support for internal associate’s for escalated issues through phone calls or (if needed) desk side visits. -Working with other internal teams on campus to support users with application support or access depending on the group/management.I started Chico's as a Intern and was promoted to Contractor after graduating high school in 2010. I then was quickly promoted to a permanent part time employee and by 2012, I received a permanent full time position as a Technician II for the Solution Center / NOC and have been with the company for over 6 years. I worked as a Technician II in the IT Security department for almost a year before returning to my previous role as a Technician II in NOC/ Solution Center. Almost all duties from my IT Security role has now been delegated to my current role on the NOC / Solution Center team.
