In my capacity as Project Engineer I worked on and oversaw the Cold Solutions Kiambu (CSK), cold storage facility in Tatu City, Ruiru as well as the Tusker Village changing room renovations at EABL, Ruaraka. My roles and responsibilities during this period involved:Engaging with the foremen/craftsmen to identify and facilitate the requisition of necessary resources such as materials, equipment, tools, manpower etc. Coordinating with civil and electrical subcontractors to ensure effective and strategic execution of mechanical worksInterpreting construction drawings, seeking further clarification where required and assisting in preparation of as-builts. Acting safety officer. This included obtaining daily, the requisite permits for the day's tasks, conducting toolbox talks (TBT), keeping Risk Assessment Methodology Statements (RAMS) up to date and maintaining the highest standards of safety.Submitting all requisite documentation such as work reports and RAMS to the relevant partiesPerforming Quality Control and Assurance on installations
