• Following safety rules and regulation as per the company rules and international standard.• Bunkering of vessels and fueling all the portable engines like generators and also the trucks.• Checking the remaining fuels on board by checking ullage or sounding the tanks.• Tests marine engines and equipment to determine need for repairs or any adjustment. • Daily checking oil level, cleaning Ac filters and doing routine changing of engine oil/filters as per the engine manufacturer.• Performs skilled maintenance work on a variety of plant and equipment mainly in Central workshops but also on site. Such work includes maintenance and overhaul of single stage and multi stage centrifugal pumps, steam turbines, compressors, fans, blowers, gear boxes, valves, overhead cranes, etc. • Operate and maintains high pressure jetting water equipment used for clearing blocked tubes and heat exchangers and removing heavy deposit on machinery.• Ensures that work is carried out in accordance with the company’s standards, code of practices. Must be familiar with tolerances of running, shrink or press fits on shafts, bushings, wear rings, keys bearings etc.

 General fabrication of damaged sea water pipes and all other required worn out parts Repairing sea water valves, hydraulic valves and doing general maintenance of fuel valves Maintaining floating dock by ensuring that there is no leakage to the tanks and general checking all inlet and outlet valves of the sea water General maintenances within the industry Maintains equipment, parts and suppliers inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt. Bunkering company vessels and fueling operating equipment/ground handling equipment such as cranes, power generators and other engine as well. Doing corrective maintenances to the engines such as changing oil and filters. Cleaning, repairing, and maintaining all parts of the boat or vessel. Reading through repair and installation orders to determine the material, time, and equipment required. Scraping away old paint, barnacles, and debris from vessels. Removing and replacing rotted or rusted sections of the vessel. Constructing replacement parts using drawings, saws, and various hand and power tools. Testing engines, propellers, steering, and navigational equipment. Mixing and applying paint, wax, and gel coats. Liaising and consulting with the supervisor and other relevant professionals and vendors.
