Evans Adu-Gyamfi is a communication practitioner with keen interest in public relations, corporate brand strategy and public speaking. Currently, the Ag. Head of Corporate Affairs and Public Relations at Central University; he doubles as the University’s Alumni Relations Officer.In March 2011, Evans became a member of Toastmasters International with the single aim “to speak and lead well”. In Toastmasters circles, the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) is celebrated for his ability to think on his feet which culminated in him winning the 2020 Champion of Champions” Table Topics (impromptu) speech contest for Region 11 hosted by District 20. In addition to speech writing and delivery, Evans has coached a number of individuals and groups based in Qatar, South Africa, India, Nigeria and Ghana. The African Seasoned Speakers Network Magazine featured him as its cover story for, among others, coaching and training corporate executives to become better public speakers.As part of his public speaking engagements, Evans has been the guest on some of Ghana’s major electronic media platforms, and a resource person to, among others, these institutions:Ashesi University, National Road Safety Authority, Ghana Institute of Journalism, Methodist University College Ghana, University of Mines and Technology, Youth Leadership Parliament, HuD Group Ghana, and Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO).Evans has also served as the Master of Ceremony (MC) for numerous corporate and social events. He was MC at the International Men’s Day event jointly held by UNFPA Ghana and Junior Shapers Africa in November 2020. In his capacity as the Organizing Secretary, Evans was the host for the press conference organized by the Forum of Ghanaian Elders at the International Press Centre in November 2016 as part of activities of CSOs in their call for a peaceful Presidential and Parliamentary elections in Ghana.Evans is a member of the Ghana Association of Writers (GAW) with three books to his credit. He also has a number of his articles published in the Business & Financial Times, Business 24 E-newspaper, and Integrity Magazine.Evans had his education at Prempeh College, Central University, Coventry University and Trinity Theological Seminary. He is the Founder of Great-Age Global, a Christian non-profit with the vision to address the needs of the elderly by harnessing the potential of youth power.
