About Evan Schwarz

I am a tech enthusiast with a passion to improve lives through software. I have a strong growth mindset. I embrace new challenges. I am excited by the opportunities and direction that come with failure.Following graduating with a CS degree I pursued a career in sales with the goal of pushing myself out of my comfort zone and growing myself away from my technical skills. I was extremely challenged but was able to find success and was promoted to manager where I found a new set of challenges and opportunities for growth.After achieving all that I set out to and more I am thrilled to be back in Software Engineering and pursuing my passions.During my time in this field I have developed skills in Javascript, JQuery, React, Redux, Node.js, Express, SQL/NoSQL Databases, HTML/CSS and many other technologies.My most recent work has been focused on JS/React and AWS/Amplify and related technologies.I look forward to continuing to grow as a developer and a person and using my skills to touch people's lives through technology.
