I was re-elected by SABR membership to a three-year term in 2023 after being appointed by the SABR Board of Directors to fill a vacated Board position on August 3, 2021. I lend my extensive baseball experience and awareness to improve SABR and oversee SABR's annual Roland Hemond Award.SABR strives to be the essential community for the world of baseball through our global membership, inclusive events, and all-encompassing research.SABR, the Society for American Baseball Research, began in Cooperstown, New York, when 15 baseball researchers gathered at the National Baseball Hall of Fame to form the organization.SABR membership now totals more than 7,500 worldwide. Who belongs to SABR? Many major and minor league baseball officials, broadcasters and writers, and numerous former players. Primarily, the membership consists of anyone interested in baseball. While the original purpose of SABR was to band together baseball historians, statisticians, and researchers, it is not necessary to engage in research to become a member.Ernie Harwell, the late Detroit Tigers Hall of Fame broadcaster, said: “SABR is the Phi Beta Kappa of baseball, providing scholarship which the sport has long needed. An excellent way for all of us to add to our enjoyment of the greatest game.”SABR members have a variety of interests, and this is reflected in the diversity of its research committees. More than three dozen groups are devoted to studying a specific area related to the game. In addition, many SABR members meet formally and informally in over 80 worldwide regional chapters throughout the year, and hundreds come together for the annual National Convention & the Analytics Conference, the organization’s premier events. These meetings include panel discussions with research presentations by members.SABR is a community of passionate baseball fans dedicated to improving our understanding of the game, preserving its history, and ensuring its future.

Celebrating 11 years as a mentor for "The Baseball General Manager and Scouting Course," an 8-week online course for college credit that offers cutting-edge theories on developing a professional and amateur baseball career. The class, taught with former Dodgers scout Hank Jones, covers significant issues, including player personnel philosophy and strategy, sabermetrics and analytics, professional/amateur scouting techniques, knowledge of the MLB Collective Bargaining Agreement, the latest technology, and other essential tools of modern MLB general managers, baseball operations staff members, and collegiate baseball decision-makers. I am proud that over 400 class participants have moved on to positions within the game of baseball. Responsibilities also include assisting in coordinating the annual Baseball Career Conference & and moderating most events, while moderating events for SMWW students across all 32 courses.

Celebrating my seventh year as a Yelp Elite with nearly 800 total reviews over the last decade, I evaluate restaurants and businesses worldwide. I was the 2024 Yelp "Reviewer of the Year."Each year, members of the Yelp community are invited to the Yelp Elite Squad, where members use their real name and photo on Yelp to evaluate local businesses and restaurants. Members are invited to special opening parties and receive other perks by being designated as a Yelp Elite. Yelp's website has pages devoted to individual locations, such as restaurants or businesses, where Yelp users can submit a review of their products or services using a one to five-star rating scale.

The Rocky Mountain Chapter is for SABR members in the Denver Metro area and the entire Rocky Mountain region. The Rocky Mountain Chapter achieved All-Star SABR chapter during my term as President. I was responsible for chapter strategy, organizing, hosting, and leading virtual chapter meetings and the organization's overall well-being. A primary advocate for the Chapter's successful support of Larry Walker's Baseball Hall of Fame candidacy using keen interaction, research, and social media outreach. Active role in recruiting new members elevated membership by 28%, advancing and expanding the chapter's research capabilities and baseball awareness, cultivating a more diverse membership, and making a difference in the community. Served two-year term as President, 2022-2023. During the Presidential term, Chapter improved its website and social media footprint, added a YouTube channel, began an Instagram account, and boldly elevated its virtual platform,

President & member of the Board of Directors for the future not-for-profit stadium at The Field of Dreams Movie Site in Dyersville, Iowa that will host at least 60 annual events and result in over $ 10 million in direct spending annually for the region. Responsible for all long-range planning, strategy, fundraising, and events. The stadium will be built on the site where the Field of Dreams Game was played in 2021-22. The versatile venue will potentially host over 60 events on an annual basis, including future big league games, MiLB games, concerts, college games and tournaments, special events, high school tournaments, adult baseball fantasy camps, festivals, corporate conference meetings, and banquets.

Led idyllic The Field of Dreams Movie Site to unprecedented productivity, revenue streams, and opportunity by parlaying my extensive baseball experience, innovation, and decision-making into an award-winning, multi-faceted venue. Responsible for evaluation of MLB, minor league, international, and amateur talent throughout the game while also focusing on the Blue Jays'​ organizational talent. Oversaw the Blue Jays'​ Pacific Rim operations, scouting each region (Japan, Korea, China, and Chinese Taipei) extensively and evaluating within the World Baseball Classic. Blue Jays had zero presence in Pacific Rim prior to assignment, quickly emerged as a leader. MLB assignments include some advance scouting, special assignment work, and post-season advance scouting of the Texas Rangers, whom the Jays' defeated in both playoff series. Aid in overall strategy of the Blue Jays, who advanced to the American League Championship Series in 2015-2016.

Radically transformed club's philosophy, returning to a scouting and player development oriented organization, reliant on pitching and defense, a contrast from Dodgers'​ tendency to churn free agent market and ignore minor league system.Assembled MLB's best bullpen since World War II (2003 Dodgers).Oversaw the most productive consecutive drafts (2002-2003) in MLB Amateur Draft history, adding multiple eventual All-Star selections including Matt Kemp, Russell Martin, James Loney, and A.J.
