As a software engineer, I have experience in full-stack development and am skilled in building applications that prioritize security and scalability.At my previous position, I was responsible for developing an internal corporate application for employee review. I utilized Flask, Postgres, Node, and Bootstrap 4 to build a platform that incorporated OAuth2.0 with Google organizational accounts and RBAC, supported by TDD, to ensure security-first design.Additionally, I led the development of a CI/CD-enabled, containerized application for ETL and visualization of public-domain cyber threat data. This project involved ingesting thousands of cyberthreat indicators into Elasticsearch from public sources, parsing and translating generic CSV cyberthreat information into IP address indicators utilizing the STIX 2.0 format, and performing automatic geolocation enrichment to enable a heatmap visualization using Kibana. I built a RESTful API using Flask and Postgres to allow end-users to configure the ETL pipeline, including the source of information, transforms to apply, and the destination of the data.Overall, my experience in full-stack development and my ability to prioritize security, scalability, and user experience make me a valuable asset to any software engineering team.
