About Geoffrey Evans

I love to build things. I built our dining room table and our duck enclosure. I've also built Incident- and Problem Management programs, spearheaded change management practices, modernized print services, compared and driven new Service Provider contracts, and built the strategies that will enable my organization to deliver consistent, high-quality work with minimal disruption and frustration. I am able to do this because of diverse teams where our uniqueness is a powerful tool rather than a barrier. When we foster learning and authenticity, when we actually listen to others and assume good intent, amazing things happen.I love to build. What can we build together? So what about the things you won't see on my resume? (shout out to Isabella)Avid reader of nearly anything but sci-fi and fantasy are my usual fare but I've been reading Wings of Fire with my daughter and it's pretty legit. Anything that makes me wonder, think, learn, or laugh. Bonus if you can do all of that. Dune, anything Asimov, Kloos, Kimmleman...Enthusiastic maker/creator/builder. Wood is my usual media but I'm learning to weld and experimenting with sustainable crafting. I love building tools and jigs and I love to repurpose things into new lives. Building a lumber rack completely from scrap was pretty rad.Animals! Basically any of them but we have cats, dogs and ducks currently. My partner is determined to get a rescue horse so... stay tuned.Experience in recruiting, training, and leading teams to peak performance and organizational success.Accomplished in organizational change, policy creation, and process evangelism.Talented communicator adept at ensuring understanding andbuy-in from C-level to entry-level contributors.

Listed skills include Active Directory, Disaster Recovery, Virtualization, It Service Management, and 33 others.
