Current- Worked solo and in teams ranging from 2 to 10 people depending on project.- Commonly coordinated with technical support and quality assurance sections to track down and solve problems, both internal and at customer deployments. - Participated in the development of Video King’s eBos gaming software, a network connected system including: + Player Devices - Windows and Android tablets + Bingo Desks - Windows PC running eBos client software - Usually including a blower and ball rails, as well as a flashboard displaying ball calls. + Local Server - Windows Server running eBos server software. - Coordinates gameplay both locally and between multiple sites. - Coordinates sales from both the Omni point of sale software, and from player devices. + Remote Server - Windows Server running eBos distributed server software. - Coordinates gameplay of certain games between players at multiple sites.- Integrated an automated bingo blower using OCR into the existing eBos client software.- Assisted in the development of Video King’s Omni point of sale softwareDuties Included:- Developing and testing new features to existing programs.- Tracking down and fixing bugs in a large mature code base.- Working primarily with C++, C#, XML, JSON and PowerShell.- Writing test plans for changes to the code base.- Updating documentation, including writing and maintaining the step-by-step build and install creation instructions.- Produce nightly builds of the eBos software suite and Omni client and server software.- Produce QA, and release builds of the eBos software suite.- Create InstallShield installations for QA and customer releases of the eBos software suite, including automating setup of operating system, network, webserver, and security settings.- Review builds and installs with regulators where requited for deployment.
