The Business Finance Partner is responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction and management of the financial resources allocated to the Division. The position is a key role in translating the strategic financial intent of the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) into operational reality and is responsible for the management of the Division's business finance management services. The Business Finance Partner is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of finance services to the Division.My role supports three Divisions - Mental Health; Rehabilitation, Aged Care and Palliative Care; and Women's & Children's.This is a permanent position, at MAS3 classification.

Starting 2 July 2018, I am very excited to have won this permanent role in SALHN Mental Health. As part of the Project Management Office, undertake a number of tasks to assist in the successful implementation of Transforming Health. Currently focusing on managing the risks around the decommissioning of the Repat General Hospital I also oversee the risks across the Transforming Health program. I'm Acting Project Manager for the relocation of the two Mental Health Wards, and Executive Officer for two TH Committees.

Project manage Stage 2 of the new Stroke Model of Care under Transforming Health

Managing the provision of regular and ad-hoc reports on Transforming Health to various parties. Provide direction on reporting.

Oversee the management of Transforming Health Program risks, assist the LHNs manage their risks, and provide monthly reporting to various committees.

Responsible for leading and providing operational support and direction of financial and administrative support services by managing staff and providing a consulting and advisory service across the Directorate regarding business reform, risk management, financial, resource and Casemix matters, including reviewing and developing policies and information systems, workforce development, analysing and reporting expenditure and revenue.

Undertake cost-effectiveness analysis of new interventions; create Access databases to capture clinical trial and research data
