He has experience in policy advocacy, business development, strategic planning & execution, training & capacity building and channel development. He also has diverse experience managing enterprise projects in the private, public and development sectors, with a strong network of contacts across the industry.He is an experienced project manager with expertise in enterprise IT projects with a strong focus on IT Governance, Risk Management & Compliance (IT GRC), Business Continuity, Information Security, Cyber Security and Privacy Management. Evans is an expert industry best practice frameworks such as CoBIT, Capability Maturity Model integration, NIST and ISO.He is a member of the Kenya Bureau of Standards technical committee on Information security, cybersecurity and privacy, the Kenyan ISO/IEC JTC1 SC27 mirror committee that is involved in the development and promotion of information security, cybersecurity and privacy standards like ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 27701 etc. He is the Chairman of Digital Education Africa Network (DEAN - Kenya) and a former board member at Camara Education Foundation - Kenya. These organizations are involved in the promotion of the use of technology to advance education especially in developing countries.He is a published Author, an active Rotarian and a Past President of the Rotary Club Nairobi Kilimani Alfajiri.
