I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2017 with a BS in Computer Science and a minor in the History of Science, Technology, and Medicine. In my university coursework, I developed a strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and both object-oriented and functional programming paradigms. My upper-division coursework focused on graphics, including physically-based animation and rendering techniques, as well as human-computer interaction, covering user-centered design principles as they apply to user interfaces and wearable technology development.Over the span of five summers' internship experience, I was challenged with a wide range of software tasks, including embedded C development for microcontrollers, Windows application design with .NET, and Bash and Python scripting to support supercomputer OS development.After graduation, I joined Sensonix Inc full-time as a software engineer. In this role, I've designed, implemented, and updated .NET applications which configure a variety of Banner Engineering industrial automation products, including programmable indicators, radar devices, and wireless gateways. Additionally, I've developed my full-stack web skills by contributing new features, bugfixes, and security improvements to the Banner Cloud Data Services platform.
