Evan was HMC Architects' director of digital practice which was the team responsible for firm-wide practice technology strategy and implementation. With 25+ years of architecture experience, he led HMC's vision, application, and integration of BIM and design technologies across its 4 core markets and 7 offices. Prior to leading technology at HMC, Evan acted as design lead on higher education, K-12 education, and civic projects as a senior designer and Principal at the California firm.

For over a decade, Evan was a professor of digital design and emerging technology courses as key components to the architectural design studios for the Architecture Department in the College of Environmental Design.
