Worked as structural project engineer in the greater New York City and Salt Lake City areas on a variety of transportation based rehabilitation and new construction projects including:• Wildlife Crossing Bridge over I-80, Utah Department of Transportation• I-15; Lehi Main to SR-92 Widening, Design-Build, Utah Department of Transportation• Bayonne Bridge (Roadway Raising), Port Authority of New York and New Jersey

• Designed and reviewed structural steel and concrete elements and connections for major metropolitan projects - most notably the High Line elevated park in Manhattan.• Produced construction document drawings using Revit Structure (BIM) to coordinate among team members.• Performed both hand and software-aided analysis on building components and systems.• Organized construction administration efforts including submittal and RFI documentation and review.

• Designed critical elements in the building erection process, including tower crane foundations, slab openings and reshoring layouts.• Created concrete scope 3D models through Revit Structure (BIM). Models were used for pre-bid presentation, pre-construction collaboration and post construction as-built references.• Performed field engineering work with Topcon total station (EDM) and automatic level to layout column, footing, and wall locations, as well as grade and elevation marks based on field drawings.• Estimated budget and bid set drawings for submittal to the general contractor.

• Performed small scale testing for better correlation of bridge pier failure methods under seismic loading. • Designed and fabricated 1/8 scale bridge columns tested on one of the east coast’s largest shake table at GWU. • Fabricated reinforcement cages for 1/3 scale bridge columns with full strain gauge instrumentation for testing under hybrid simulation at The University of Illinois Urbana Champagne.
