I'm currently a Vice President at Moody’s Ratings on the Ratings & Research Risk Management Team. In this role, I work closely with senior management in the ratings business to identify, understand and manage the key risks to our operational and strategic business objectives in order to make informed decisions. I also lead and support global projects and remediations to strengthen processes related to regulatory requirements, internal controls, operational effectiveness, new product introductions, strategic initiatives, and organizational changes.Prior to this role, I was a Lead Rating Analyst in the Public Finance Group covering a large portfolio of U.S. Local Governments, including cities, counties, school districts, and municipal utilities throughout the Southeast. I served as the lead analyst for local government ratings in Virginia and Kentucky, authored research including annual sector outlook reports, presented at industry conferences, and participated in multiple internal task forces.Prior to joining Moody’s in 2014, I worked as a Commercial Banking Financial Analyst at Columbia Bank in Washington State where I independently managed and monitored the bank’s mortgage warehouse lending portfolio. I hold an MBA from New York University and a BA in Accounting and French from Western Washington University.
