He looked at where the business was trending and fixed problems before they became failures. He saw talent in our team and shaped them into leaders. We would often grumble at the latter, but as time went by our team grew stronger, more agile and multifunctional...he was right.  As our company grew, Evan oversaw the buildout and staffing of our San Francisco studios and lead the charge on a number of studio improvements and groundbreaking projects. Watching him balance large budgets, tight timelines and big personalities with a cool head was inspiring. What was even more remarkable, was the care that Evan put into navigating those projects and changes, he scrutinized how a change would impact teams and individual roles and found a way for it to become a win-win for his team and for the company. It wasn't uncommon for Evan to take a tough decision passed to him from on high, and find a way to turn it into a new career path for a member of our department or an exciting new trajectory that our team gets to take on.  This was good for business and great for morale.   I wholeheartedly hope to work with Evan again someday, I am a better manager, leader, and person for having had him as my boss. "
