I am currently a Scientific Engineering Program Coordinator of the Dynamic Resilience Program at Wellcome Leap.I am a motivated neuroscientist with a strong background in cell physiology, molecular biology and biochemistry. Throughout my scientific career, I have acquired extensive experience in calcium dynamics, synaptic plasticity and neurodegenerative diseases and have contributed to many scientific publications in neuroscience and other fields (e.g., in the fields of UPR and ER stress). During my professional trajectory I have implemented different novel techniques getting involved in experimental problem solving. I have developed scientific and grant writing skills that have made me get several grants and funding to support my own research. I am a curious and committed scientist with creative thinking and team spirit, soft skills that I have developed during my professional and personal path and that allow me to adapt easily to collaborative and international environments.My passion is the study of the brain using in vivo and in vitro live imaging tools.
