As the company's Bibliographic Data Manager, I'm responsible for the maintenance, optimisation and distribution of metadata for our full product catalogue (managing the bibliographic database – BiblioLIVE – associated XML data feeds, and reports). I'm also responsible for sales through Amazon.co.uk; the role involves analysing market data, spotting trends, communicating insights to internal stakeholders, organic keyword optimisation / enhancing product discoverability (SEO), and the creation of PPC marketing campaigns and paid promotions.

On a freelance basis, I manage an emerging, independent folk band. The role involves booking gigs and festivals, organising tours, playlist pitching, event promotion, social media marketing, and securing strategic partnerships / collaborations with similar artists. With a background in SEO, I analyse user-level data from streaming platforms (Spotify and iTunes) via Chartmetric and use these insights to build new online discoverability campaigns.

A temporary, freelance role involved co-ordinating ebook production for The Faber Alliance (3rd party) and Faber & Faber (in-house) publishers. This lead to a further, data migration project: repairing large, legacy data sets within the legacy ebook distribution system, migrating data to a new system, and pushing cleansed metadata feeds to retailers. Afterwards, I worked with Faber Digital, co-ordinating the digitisation of products for the ‘Drama Online’ and ‘Screen Studies’ online education platforms (as part of the Faber & Faber's collaboration with Bloomsbury) and also performed QA for the new Faber Academy e-commerce website.

Foreign Rights Assistant:Drafting rights contracts, liaising with foreign publishers, distributing advance sales material and maintaining the rights / licensing database.Digital Co-ordinator:Co-ordinating the production and distribution of ebooks to major online retailers (Amazon, Apple, Kobo, Sainsbury’s, Google). Maintaining and expanding the O'Mara and Buster websites. Project managing a new website launch.

Checking for formatting errors (with regard to text, layout, metadata and hyperlinks) that occur during eBook conversion, as well as the semantic coherence, factual accuracy, grammar, spelling and punctuation of the original publication.
