As I had performed financial accounting in rapid growth companies as well as established companies I am taking ownership for handling the accounting of FNA's head office and our subsidiaries, in addition to supporting management in a variety of financial controlling work.

Very positive experience working for a small and fast-growing company, where we figure out best practices together as we grow to be a more complex business. I am gaining experience in many different projects/roles across the organization, learning quickly and identifying ways to streamline accounting processes, adding automation and efficiency improvements along the way.

Main Role in Treasury acting as the first point of contact with the banks, managing all banking data (bank documentation such us mandate letters and opening-closing bank accounts in a timely manner), performing daily cash-liquidity position, and assisting Financial Analyst in cash pooling and Forex hedging and cash flow reporting.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, I was responsible for all aspects liked to the accounts, maintaining the day-to-day operations of the finance department and producing financial, internal and KPI’s report. Worked closely to the Financial Controller assisting on different tasks - among other things - monthly Group consolidation reporting, balance sheet reconciliations or annual cost forecasting and budgeting.

Ensured the company actively manages its sales ledger by maximise the collection of outstanding debt managing over 80 live accounts. There were an average of 100 students on each account, with more students being added all the time. I was responsible for making regular contact with partners regarding unpaid items, as well as anticipating developments and identifying accounts that require special attention.

I played a key role in helping sales teams to achieve their sales target. I was responsible for managing all the administrative tasks, I also provided before and after excellent sales support to customers through phone, email and live chat. Due to structural changes in sales department I moved to customer service department where a new system of customer management is being developed. I keep providing our students high level of customer service before and after their bookings.

This was a newly established online accounting service for freelancers, contractors, startups or just about any small business offered by BBVA. They offered to customers an innovative way to fulfil their accountancy needs, supporting business every step of the way, and make managing finances simple and affordable.
