I love working for an organization whose mission I believe in. I love how libraries open new worlds for people, particularly children. When a child catches the "reading bug" the joy is infectious and being able to feed that bug with great books is a pleasure. When children have access to books and have people to read to them they are more likely to succeed in life. My work at the library and work that I do as a volunteer helps to make this a reality.
