CurrentMy mission is to propose accurate budgeting of flooring contracts, develop timelines and orchestrate subcontractors with a primary focus in the commercial industry. I handle both new construction and tenant improvements. I enjoy collaborating with architects and designers to specify the right products and installation methods for the needs of the end user. I use Callidus, a computer program to generate color coordinated take off's designing layouts, showing exact seam placement, and digitizing the quantities of materials required for the specific scope. I negotiate pricing on products from our vendors, propose suggested installation methods for specific applications, and coordinate with our installation team precise installation timeframes, techniques and methods. I strive to identify all aspects of the design to better engineer the project using the best techniques & logistics, carefully considering the effects on other trades and their requirements & standards. I plan to ensure the materials & methods exceed the end users performance and maintenance expectations, while staying within the budget. My knowledge of the industry and relationships with different manufacturers allows me to value engineer virtually any project if required. Rubenstein's has been a leading commercial floor covering provider for over 40 years. Some of our award winning projects include the Husky Den at U.W, Highline Community College Higher Education Center & U.O's Track & Field Office. Other completed projects include; Seahawks Stadium & Exhibition Center, Children's Hospital of Seattle, Bellevue Hyatt, Suzzallo Library at U.W., Tacoma Convention & Trade Center, Legends Center at U.W, & the Portland Airport.Some of my projects consist of a Clean Tech Laboratory for WSU, an Integrated Research Facility for U of I, Freestanding Hospital for Deaconess, Providence Assisted Living Facility, AT&T, Outback Steakhouse/Bonefish Grill & a High Security Facility at Fairchild Air Force Base.
