Eric serves as president and treasurer of MCA, and he specifically specializes in and is responsible for helping hospitals and health systems' revenue cycle management divisions become more profitable. Eric plays a vital role in leading the team and leveraging our proprietary software technology on the robust Oracle Platform to provide MCA’s AllPayor System to hospital systems and healthcare providers. Joining MCA in 1995 as vice president, later serving as senior vice president. Eric’s contributions to MCA’s signature technologies from its inception have been invaluable. He was instrumental in the development of MCA’s claim management system software.Earlier, Eric was a financial advisor and continued his career development with Coastal Securities, Meridian Capital Markets, and Pinnacle Capital Markets, GE. He is a past president of the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of HFMA and the past chair of HFMA's national chapter advancement team. He founded and is the past chairman of the HFMA Region 9 annual conference, and founder and past chair of HFMA's Texas State Conference. Recently forming "Healthcare Thought Leaders", to provide leadership education to our great industry. Also, Eric's a member of the (ACHE) American College of Healthcare Executives, HIMMS, (HCCA) Healthcare Compliance Association, and the (AHLA) American Health Lawyers Association. He holds a bachelor of science in engineering technology from Texas A&M. Specialties: MCA calculates expected reimbursement to the penny for all known payors, collects, and has saved millions of dollars for its clients through its excellent tools & services! AnalyTXs AllPayors robust capabilities and its Hospital & Physician capabilities have positioned MCA as a leader in managed care contract management/modeling, pricing transparency/patient estimation, underpayment/denial management reporting, and decision support arenas for years to come, helping small hospitals to large health systems!
