My current position has a very wide scope of delivery across multiple divisions and entities.I have designed, developed and built entire end- to-end supply chain systems with inbuilt reporting integrations. Delivered through various mechanisms including Azure & Sharepoint deployment, MySQL & SQL Server datasets with Excel & Power BI reporting. A core responsibility of my role is to provide accurate and detailed reporting across key result areas with supporting analysis identifying trends and potential threats or opportunities to the business. I have also developed brand positions for all entities with supporting websites and collateral. I create and maintain all physical and electronic marketing materials, and assist in production and delivery across multiple platforms.

For just under two years I’ve been the lead support to the business owner of a diverse conglomerate of five companies, primar- ily across a multi-site franchise within the Optus network. While supporting growth from eight to ten sites in the last 18 months, including two remote locations, my key areas of responsibility are; to analyse, assist and manage the commercial, operational and compliance areas of these business, these include:- Recruitment: overseeing on-boarding, training, development & performance management- HR: maintain commission structures, monthly payroll, retail award rates, FTE headcount, store marketing and merchandising- Sales Analysis: develop and maintain sales performance, tracking and motivation tools- Stock Control: maintain strong levels of inventory within budget across multiple categories for all sites- Financial: profit and loss reporting, opportunity gap cost analysis, wage forecast against budget, EBITDA and full cost of business analysis

I arrived in Australia as a permanent resident late November ’07 and quickly received the opportunity to manage a small, yet high volume, store in the Perth CBD. Working under a premium dealer of the Optus network I used my skills developed in the UK to maximize opportunities using my visual merchandising strengths to my advantage. Throughout my four plus year travel I moved from dealer across to direct franchise store and finally company owned, managing the flagship store on Hay St, Perth CBD. I’ve successfully managed teams of up to fifteen staff across a seven day rotating roster, training, developing and per- formance managing where required.

As one of the UK’s leading retailers as voted by its employees, the Carphone Warehouse was my refining ground for my per- sonal sales skills, team leadership, visual merchandising and store management. I worked as part of a core team of over twenty sales and team leaders across four local stores, our only responsibility was to ensure customer engagement and satisfaction was a strong as possible, while achieving extensive targets and KPI’s.
