During my most recent employment my role was to primarily provide friendly, attentive service and exceptional hospitality to all our guests. This included taking initial bookings, creating seating plans and serving meals as well as working behind the bar. This experience allowed me to develop my communication skills, and gave me the confidence to be able to work well under pressure.

Between time at university I worked as a waitress at The Hope and Anchor where I was responsible for making sure customers received the best service while dining with us. As front of house I also took hotel bookings using our online system and also spent time occasionally assisting in the busy kitchen.

This was a secondary placement following on from working in a secondary school. This gave me the opportunity to work with younger children, my main role being the leader of art project which involved schools around the county. I also assisted in day to day teaching recreational activities and allowed me to use my organization skills within a larger group.

As part of my degree I had a work placement at Beechen Cliff within the Art department once a week for 6 weeks. My role during this time was to assist in GCSE and A-level art and photography classes as well as pastoral care for younger year groups.
