As part of the AV team I support DC Thomson's range of products with high quality photography and video. I create editorial imagery for print publications, handling everything from prop sourcing to styling and retouching. Portraits and homes and interiors are particular areas of expertise along with a top level knowledge of lighting.On the digital side, I create both still and video content for use on business social channels. These include new issue environmental still life photography, stop animation and reel creation.I also support DC Thomson's radio stations and events with high quality photography services.

I was the staff photographer at No.1 Magazine for over 10 years, moving from the role at PSP Publishing to the new owners at DC Thomson. My key role was to support the magazine with engaging visuals. This could be storytelling for features, fashion editorials, interiors, Scottish events and more.My photography role included:- Concept creation.- Set design.- Fashion styling.- Expert knowledge of both natural and studio lighting.- All retouching to a high standard.I also managed social media for No.1 Magazine. The role included:- Creating engaging content for use across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.- Copywriting posts.- Providing detailed analysis of the channels.- Writing digital articles on fashion, travel and local news for No.1's website and ensuring these are best optimised for SEO.
