Strategic Retail insight and guidance, supporting TEG on range curation and partner selection for forthcoming IP driven experiences.

Working with Marketing and D2C teams to drive revenue generation across eCommerce and Pop-Up Retail.For my second stint with Polydor, I was more focussed on supporting the Head of Marketing with a Retail Pop-Up Tour for UK Drill artist, Clavish.Offering guidance on road logistics and product, this was an opportunity for me to work with an Urban demographic, with different preferences on blanks, cuts and fits.

As Sandbag's 'Boots on the Ground' I facilitated end to end Retail operations for the show's launch and opening weeks. Working with the venue team, stakeholders and partners, I looked after Visual Merchandising, recruited and trained a team of over 25 staff, and rolled out the Inventory Management system. I also engaged a specialist shopfitter and initiated dialogue with TFL to lay foundations for the ABBA Voyage standalone store in Pudding Mill Lane DLR station.A personal highlight for me was collaborating with Our Newham Works, together we managed to place over 100 Newham locals in work across ABBA Voyage. The Retail team bonded exceptionally well, with strong staff retention levels, promoting from within and fostering new skills.

Working with a cross section of leading Film and Television IP, I drove product strategy, assortment curation and display dressing for experiential retail environments.From idea generation to brand approvals, art direction and production management, I worked closely with Operations to create customer friendly, visually stimulating and practical touring stores.

Managing Product Development and Inventory Management for a portfolio of well-loved Musicals, I also collaborated and shared retail insight with the LW Theatres management team to optimise revenue across the board.Supporting the 'bricks and mortar' theatre vending was an eComm store, fulfilled by Sandbag who have always lead the way in the online space - efficiently and ethically.I also assisted in the development of styleguides for our flagship properties to enable RUG to move into the Licensing arena, and transitioned the Retail operation over to Live Nation Merchandise as part of a strategic pivot.

This quirky, design-lead giftware company was a fantastic springboard for me after graduation.Working hands-on in all areas, I learned to be an all-rounder, learning a wide range of skills. As we were a team of 2, I had to really immerse myself in all areas of running the business and not shy away from either challenges or paperwork!From product design to briefing Far Eastern factories, price negotiation to fabric selection - I worked on all aspects of bringing a product to life, whether simple projects like stone placements for an ornate compact mirror; or complex design briefing for a hamburger shaped vanity case.I learned to analyse sales patterns to forecast stock ordering, and from here co-ordinate the logistics of shipping and customs clearance.The next step of the process was the selling strategy; planning our trade show calendar and conducting appointments with key retail buyers - at one point I even hosted several hours on QVC, which I loved.Accounting plays a pivotal role in any business, and so I learned to use Sage Line50 - looking after the bought and sales ledgers.I also worked together with the fulfillment warehouse, overseeing the pick, pack and dispatch process.
