I am a social creature who loves to communicate with people and find ways to bring out the best in them. Finding common ground is an effective way to connect and work together.As Coolbet’s recruitment manager, I lead our recruitment and onboarding team while also dealing with something that has become a passion of mine - technical recruitment. My job is to design and oversee the recruitment and onboarding process and make sure we hire qualified talent and offer an amazing candidate experience. Despite not having any technical background, it is a fascinating challenge to interview tech candidates and get them out of their shell. Creating a comfort zone where they can be more open is a thrill. It’s my second big challenge at Coolbet.My first challenge was in 2021. Due to rapid growth, we set out to hire 73 people. By year’s end, we nearly doubled that number, adding 133 new hires. That was no small accomplishment. It led to me being one of 12 colleagues throughout Coolbet’s locations in nine countries to be nominated for the Employee of the Year award.Prior to Coolbet, I was one of two department managers at H&M. Working closely with the recruitment coordinator there, I realized that the recruiting field was more to my liking. Then in the summer of 2019, I was hired at Coolbet. Also tasked with employer branding, I get to let potential future colleagues know just how fun working at a place as diverse, open, and innovative as Coolbet is.
