As office volunteer for the "Operation Climate" campaign I worked on a number of "pop-up events" and on the recruitment of volunteers, the promotion of recruitment meetings, registration of volunteers and I supported volunteers around the Netherlands by joining them for actions and door-to-door conversations in which I talked to people in the Netherlands and asked for their opinion on a fair climate policy

Leiden

During the Sustainable Business Battle, a consultancy competition in which we received a sustainability-related business case in teams, I worked together with three others on an assignment for the Water Authority Rijnland. They wanted to teach students more about their activities in the area of climate change and involve students more in their activities. We thought of an escape room which was build in Leiden in March 2019

Amsterdam

As an intern I wrote articles for the Worldconnectors website, for which I interviewed several members of the network, among which professors, entrepreneurs, politicians and other experts. In addition, I was responsible for the newsletter and the social media channels. I also worked on the organisation of two large events with 500 and 35 attendees. I did research for the working group on food and supported the secretariat with administrative tasks and community management.

I tutored high school students in Dutch, Mathematics and English and motivated them to do their homework.

During the BA course "Practicing International Studies" I worked in a team of 12 people on a consultancy assignment for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We researched the shared values between the Netherlands and Latin America and looked for opportunities to increase cooperation with these countries. In this team I did research and I was responsible for editing the texts.
