Oversaw 40 plus staff members in an outpatient 340B pharmacy setting. The pharmacy takes care of employee prescriptions, of discharged patient's prescriptions and delivers medication bedside for convenience of patient. The pharmacy also handles a specialty transplant patient discharge service as well as a specialty hepatology clinic for hepatitis C and hepatocellular carcinoma patients in need of new oral therapies. Duties included maintaining proper records, hiring and training new staff and providing feedback to staff to streamline and improve operations. Other duties include helping implement a 340b management software so the pharmacy could become open door. Further duties included maintaining contracts and signing agreement with new insurance companies.
